The polishing process of stainless steel can be divided into two parts: polishing and polishing. The two processes and methods are summarized as follows
I. grinding
The main goal of stainless steel welding parts grinding is to remove the solder joint, to achieve the workpiece with surface roughness of r10um, to prepare for the light!
The polishing part is summarized as follows:
Three processes: rough grinding, semi finish grinding and finish grinding
Three sides: two sides and one edge
Nine polishing machines
There are 27 regulating mechanisms,
The details are as follows:
1. Visual inspection shall be carried out for the workpieces transferred to polishing process in the previous process, such as whether there are defects that cannot be remedied in this process, such as weld leakage, weld penetration, uneven depth of solder joint, too far away from the joint, local depression, uneven butt joint, deep scratch, bumping, serious deformation, etc, 2. Rough grinding, grinding the workpiece on three sides with 600 ᦇ abrasive belt. The goal of this process is to remove the solder joints left by the workpiece welding and the bumps occurred in the previous process, so as to achieve the initial formation of the fillet of the welding joint. The horizontal and vertical planes are basically free of large scratches and bumps. After this process, the surface roughness of the workpiece should reach r0.8mm.
3. Semi finish grinding, grinding the three sides of the workpiece with 800 ᦇ abrasive belt according to the previous method of grinding the workpiece back and forth, mainly to correct the joints appeared in the previous process and further fine grinding the marks produced after rough grinding. The marks left by the previous process should be repeatedly ground, so that the surface of the workpiece has no scratches and basically becomes bright. The surface roughness of this process should reach r0.4mm.
4. Fine grinding, with 1000 # abrasive belt, is mainly used to correct the fine lines in the previous process. The grinding method is the same as above.
5. Mirror
The high-speed motor-driven wool wheel (available on the market) is used to polish the mirror surface in cooperation with Daqing wax. The main purpose of this process is to polish the mirror surface of the workpiece after polishing in the previous processes, rather than further grinding. Pay attention not to rub the polishing wax against the covering film on the surface of the workpiece in this process, and pay attention not to damage the covering film.
6. Polish
This process is a super post process of mirror polishing. Use a clean cotton wheel to rub the surface of the workpiece after passing through the mirror to clean and polish the workpiece after all previous processes. The goal of this process is that the surface of the workpiece can not distinguish the welding trace, and the polished workpiece can be polished, the brightness can reach 8K higher than the specular reflection, and there is almost no difference between the polished part and the unprinsed part. To achieve full mirror effect.
